Preparation and formulation of an institutional resilience strategy (Risk Management, Crisis Management and Business Continuity) of the Ministry of Labor
Project introduction
A project to prepare and formulate the Ministry of Labor’s institutional resilience strategy, implemented by the Masarat Business Development Team over a period of 21 months, with the aim of enhancing the Ministry’s ability to deal with risks and crises and ensuring business continuity. This is achieved by formulating practical policies and plans that enhance the Ministry’s ability to anticipate risks and respond effectively and quickly to them, in line with Oman Vision 2040.
Project goals
The project aims to:
- Preparing implementable plans in the field of institutional flexibility.
- Qualifying risk management personnel in the Ministry to prepare and develop institutional plans.
- Providing continuous training to create a conscious environment capable of responding to risks and continuing business efficiently and flexibly.
- Review current and future public policies in line with the project.
- Achieving the government’s visions and aspirations in managing national risks in an integrated manner.
- Governance of work procedures in the institutional flexibility strategy.
Components of the project
The project includes three main components:
- Formulating an enterprise risk management strategy that is compatible with the organization’s missions and business.
- Preparing and formulating an emergency management plan system in accordance with the state’s general policies.
- Preparing and formulating a business continuity plan system that ensures the continuity of the organization’s vital operations.
